  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 large red onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or almond flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 tbsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey and minced garlic. Grate or finely chop the red onion and add it to the mixture.
  2. Add the egg, breadcrumbs (or almond flour), chopped dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into approximately 14 uniform meatballs.
  4. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook meatballs for about 7-8 minutes, turning frequently until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Serve with tzatziki sauce for an added burst of flavor!
